Consortium

The GRAND consortium consisting of 2 Universities and 3 Research Institutes includes experimental, analytic and theoretical groups, each with internationally acknowledged excellence in their field.

The research lab of AMO is perfectly equipped with a high standard CMOS process platform to fulfil the tasks of this project dedicated to fabrication and electrical characterization of nanoribbon graphene switches and interconnects. The IUNET partner will mostly contribute to the project devoting its renowned expertise in modeling and simulation. CEA-LETI will contribute to the project running wafers in its 200mm CMOS platform and support direct transfer to industrial lines. The Nanotechnology Group at TNI-UCC provides a unique range of fabrication, processing and characterisation infrastructure for directed assembly of graphene crystallites and functionalization of edge states in graphene devices. The University of Cambridge Semiconductor Physics group (UCAM DPHYS) is ideally suited to detailed analysis and low temperature characterisation of graphene devices.
